Frequently Asked QUESTIONS

  • Working with an editor at the ideas stage can pay dividends later on. I’ll be able to steer you towards what your target audience is looking for, provide a sounding board, and help you identify and develop your strongest ideas.

  • I hear you. If you’d prefer, you can send me a written summary of your thoughts and ideas, your rough notes, an email, or a voice note, if that’s easier. I’m open to carrier pigeons, if that’s what it takes.

  • I’ll let you into a secret: there are no new ideas, only new and interesting spins on ideas that already exist out there in some way or another. We’ll work together to put your unique spin on whatever story you want to tell.

  • That’s all it takes. We’ll take your tiny shred and explore ways to expand it. I’ll offer prompts and questions to help you identify how your tiny idea can lend itself to a bigger theme and beyond that to character, plot and subplots.
