Are You & Your Editor A Good Fit?

It’s important that you feel confident about moving forward with an editorial collaboration. When I work with a writer, I want them to feel comfortable sharing their work with me.

I believe it’s vital that writers feel safe enough to be vulnerable with their editors, and that sense of comfort and safety comes from having compatible working styles and writers feeling empowered– rather than diminished– by the feedback they receive from their editor.

In a supportive and empowering editorial relationship, you’ll achieve your best work. To assess whether we’d make a good team, I encourage you to get in touch for a chat via email. I can do a free sample edit so that you can see how I work, and we can arrange a phone or video call as well if that is something you would find helpful. If I think you are looking for a service or a type of support I can’t provide, I will do my absolute best to point you towards someone who can.
